What’s the last book you read that you thought was really super, inspiring, you’d recommend it to most anyone?
Well let’s see: most books I read lately weren’t exactly Goethe 😉 I really liked „The Physician“ by Noah Gordon that I read several years back or „The Pillars of the Earth“ by Ken Follett

What food totally grosses you out, you’d never be able to touch it?
Besides frog legs and snails: I once saw a documentary on TV that they are serving carp in Japan that is still alive *Yikes*

Did you ever watch a scary movie that frightened you so much you were afraid of the dark afterward? I mean like you’re lying in bed trying to sleep, but you have to pee, but you’re scared to get up. It doesn’t have to be recently; could be when you were a kid. So what movie was it?
I remember seeing a movie on TV when I was a kid, something like „The fight for Troja“. There were several staked heads that really kept coming back at night. Nowadays it’s more the music that builds up to the suspense that has me on the edge 😉

Actually I am a rather humorous person so that can happen A LOT. Usually when we are in the company of our neighbours the conversation gets rather funny.

Nein, nicht im Schritt ;-))

Mein erzwungener Hausarrest geht mir langsam aber sicher auf den Senkel! ICH WILL WIEDER UNTER LEUTE, ich will Gespräche führen, die über „Sind die Hausaufgaben gemacht? Stifte gespitzt? Zimmer aufgeräumt? Schmeckt das Essen?“… hinausgehen. Ich möchte nicht ständig vom wireless LAN abhängig sein, weil das sich sowieso dank dicker Stahlbetondecken im Haus immer wieder ausklinkt.
Ja, ich bin genervt und teilweise auch ziemlich gefrustet. Ich neige dazu, amazon leerzukaufen. (mein Mann wird sich sehr bedanken, wenn die nächste Kreditkartenabrechnung kommt). Ich schaue 97 mal am Tag ins Wurzelimperium, ob ich nicht 397 Karotten für 2Wurzeltaler verkaufen kann. Sprich ich mach lauter Schmarrn! Eiegntlich könnte ich ja auch stricken, aber die Hitze macht meine Hände so klebrig, dass es im Moment nicht so die große Freude ist.

Ich glaube, ich bin reif für die Insel.

My cabin fever is really hard meanwhile. I want to see other people again, I want other conversations than „Is your homework done? Did you sharpen your pencils? Have you cleaned your room? Do you like my cooking?“. I don’t want to depend on the wireless Internet connection which shuts down every other minute thanks to thick walls inside the house.
Yes, I am unnerved and cranky. I tend to do binge shopping on amazon (DH will get a shock at the next credit card bill). I am checking into Wurzelimperium several times a day. Sure I could be knitting but the warm weather makes my hands sticky so knitting is not so much fun.
