Im Moment warte ich darauf, dass mein fünfter Feather and Fan die Runde in der WaMa fertig dreht. Danach geht es ab auf die Streckbank Bilder folgen.

At the moment I am waiting for my 5th Feather and Fan to finish its spin in the wash. After that there will be a round of blocking Photos to follow.

Nachdem ich diese Woche im Radio gehört habe, dass Gurken dieses Jahr das Weihnachtsbaumaccessoire sind, … na also…

Heute etwas spät, da ich mit Lisas Klasse im Kino war. Wir haben “Lippels Traum” angesehen.

Manchmal wundere ich mich über mich selber, welche Gedankengänge ich habe, während ich Auto fahre. Heute war vor mir ein Auto mit dem Kennzeichen LA-CE 00 (waren natürlich andere Ziffern ) und ich dachte mir “Ist eigentlich ein nettes Kennzeichen für eine Strickerin”. Gleichzeitig fällt mir der Spruch von Stephanie Pearl-McPhee aus “At Knit’s End” ein, der sinngemäß geht: “Du weißt, du bist eine Strickerin, wenn dich nicht der Mann in der Kassenschlange vor dir interessiert, sondern das Muster vom Pullover, den er trägt.”
Wahrscheinlich fährt das Auto ein/e Christian/Conny Eder,  es war eher so das typische Fahranfängerauto (älterer Kleinwagen), oder das Kennzeichen war reiner Zufall, aber man kann sich ja Gedanken machen.

Sometimes I am really wondering what I am thinking while driving my car. Today there was a car in front of me with the licence plate LA-CE 000 (in Germany the first 1-3 letters show the town or the region you are from, the next letters and numbers you can either choose for yourself or get them assigned by authorities;  in this case the driver came from Landshut, Bavaria) and I was thinking that would  make a good licence plate for a knitter. And I recalled a part of Stephanie Pearl-McPhee’s book “At Knit’s End” where she says something like: “You know you’re a knitter if you are not interested in the man in front of you at the check-out but in the pattern of the sweater he is wearing”.
Well probably the driver of the car wasn’t a knitter anyway ;-)
