Gestern war ich wieder beim Orthopäden. Drei Wochen „darf“ ich die Schiene noch tragen. D.h. drei Wochen noch mehr oder weniger auf andere Leute angewiesen sein, nicht Autofahren können, ein steif geschientes Bein haben, das jeden Toilettenbesuch zu einem lang vorauszuplanenden Event macht, … *ARGGHH* Ich bin zwar eigentlich kein ungeduldiger Mensch, aber ich bin nicht sonderlich glücklich, wenn ich wegen jedem Liter Milch jemand anderen bemühen muss. GöGa hat zwar diese Woche noch Urlaub, aber ich glaube langsam ist er auch etwas genervt.
Vier Bücher habe ich bereits gelesen. Das fünfte habe ich gerade angelesen und zwar „Verblendung“ von Stieg Larsson. Gefällt mir bis jetzt recht gut.
Yesterday I went to the orthopedic specialist again and I have to wear the splint for three more weeks. Three more weeks to totally rely on others, not being able to drive my car, a stiff splinted knee that makes each trip to the bathroom a long preplanned event,… *ARRGHH*. Usually I am not an impatient person, but I am also not very thrilled to ask for help for every quart of milk :-(. DH is still on vacation this week but I guess he gets unnerved also.
Well I am reading a lot, after four english paranormal books I moved to „Verblendung“ by Stieg Larsson His three novels were published posthum, after he died of a heart attack in 2004.
Ohje, das ist ja wirklich sehr lästig, ich kann gut verstehen, dass dich da der Lagerkoller packt. Geht denn wenigstens stricken??

Happy about new blog, sorry about your knee. Hope you are not feeling too frustrated. Your blog is one of my favorites.
I’m laid up with a bum knee, too! I had surgery on it Monday. I can bear weight on it but if I do more than walk to the bathroom and back it has been swelling up, so I am also having to ask for help with everything. You’d think staying in bed and being waited on would be heavenly, huh, but it actually sucks really quickly.
